Abstract
Since the past two decades, China’s relationship with Latin America and the Caribbean, and specifically with Mexico, has been increasing exponencially in commercial, political and cultural affairs. Chanzhou city has a great importance in the Jiangsu Province, one of its most developed industries is the petroquimichal one, in a similar way, Veracruz state has a long time experience with oil extraction and oil refineries. Despite the fact petrochemical industry has a paramount importance for manufacturing production, the cooperation between both regions has been limited. The post-pandemic creates the challenge of cooperation, and in the petrochemical industry deepening it will be essential for its development. This article shows a general panorama about challenges and opportunities related to Chanzhou and Veracruz cooperation in the petrochemical industry field.
